Mark Carlotto, Ph.D.

Bio

Dr. Mark Carlotto is an aerospace engineer, specializing in image processing, pattern recognition, mapping and machine learning. He received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Carnegie-Mellon University in 1981, written over one hundred scientific papers and nine books.  One of them, titled The Martian Enigmas, was featured in this 1992 television interview, hosted by Star Trek's Nichelle Nichols.  He currently works as Senior Scientist at General Dynamics Mission Systems in Boston.
